Yuji Itadori

Misison and Symbolism:

After his grandpa's death, Itadori realized the importance of honoring and respecting the lives of others. He also understands that death is inevitable and that people deserve to meet their end dignifiedly, free from unnecessary suffering or regret. For these reasons Itadori has made it his personal mission to protect those who can't protect themselves, and help anywhere he can.

Even his name can be broken down to demonstrate all he symbolizes, his first name, translates to "abundant, help, and brave" and can be broken down further into "yu" which means, slow or relaxing, while "ji" roughly means "caring for others." His last name also holds significance as it relates to Japnese Knotweed which is traditionally used as a pain reliever.

yuji makes a very good role model because he's always trying to do the right thing and help people, even if they seem undeserving .

Background:

Anyone who has seen Jujutsu Kaisen can agree that Yuji Itadori is easily a fan favorite. Not only is he one of the strongest characters in the series, but he is also one of the most likeable.

Yuji Itadori started off as a normal high school student in the beginning of the series, but adapted to the life of Jujutsu sorcery incredibly fast. Directly after meeting Megumi Fushiguro and consuming one of Sukuna's 20 fingers, Itadori became Ryomen Sukuna's vessel, and started his training at Jujutsu High. By being seemingly unfazed with his situation many viewers including myself hafve a higher level of respect for Itadori.

On a more personal note, Yuji is very relatable because of his appreciation of people and his love towards life. He also never gives up despite being one of the most burdened characters in the series.
